The last few days have been HOT. I am not a high temp kind of gal. I enjoy the mild weather of fall and the non-rainy parts of spring. The extremes are not my thing. Today is supposed to be another warm one which has me dreaming of the breezy ocean of our Cape Disappointment camping trip.
My favorite part of our excursion to the beach was our hikes to the two lighthouses. North Head holds a special place in my heart. It is one the oldest working lighthouses and it includes the keepers houses and outbuildings. Although it shows it's wear and tear of living near the salty ocean air, I love it's rustic appeal.
