the farm chicks antique show

Yesterday my friend, Julie, and I loaded up the car and hit the road at five o'clock in the morning headed east to Spokane Washington. We were bound for The Farm Chicks Antique Show. We arrived just before 10 a.m. pulling in the expo center. The crowd was bustling, the sun was shining and it was exciting. Oh!! And, let me tell you, if there was ever a time to wear a skirt and pair of cowboy boots while shopping.....this was it!!!

I did take some pictures when my eyeballs weren't popping out of my head, but alas they are not the greatest. Things were leaping out everywhere. Little treasures to be had around every corner. I mostly love the repainted wood furniture myself. Anything re-imagined and given a face lift makes my heart do a flip. I LOVED every stinking minute of it.

I scored the most adorable little robin's egg blue twin bed frame, a glass juicer and a sweet pennant for the chalkboard on my front porch. I was very happy.

I tried hitting up the Littlerock one last year, but missed it. I love it too!!

I almost brought the globe home but I promised myself not to go overboard and buy everything I love. :D
