I love this time of year. I love September and October. I love Fall!
And in keeping with the Fall spirit, the kids and I made mini apple pies after school. We are on a conference schedule so the teachers send the little people home at 11:30am. Leaving the parents to figure out what to do for the rest of the day.
We started the fire, turned on a Halloween movie, and made apple pies. My inspiration came from The Farm Chicks. Although I did not follow her recipe. I basically was just winging it which is more my style anyway.
And to my surprise, these wee apple pot pie goodness turned out pretty yummy if I do say so myself.
